Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Lookma collects, why, and what you can do about it. It reflects what the app actually does. If we change how the app handles data, we update this page and the date above.
1. Data we collect

Data about your body and what you eat is health-related data under Article 9 GDPR. We process it only because you actively choose to enter it. You can withdraw that consent at any time by deleting your account.
Lookma does not use advertising, does not contain third-party ad SDKs, does not track you across other apps or websites, and does not sell your data to anyone.

Photos sent to Google
When you use the camera to add a meal, that photo is sent to Google's Gemini API so it can identify the food. This is the only case where an image leaves your device. If you would rather not send photos, add meals manually instead — every feature except photo recognition works without it.
Transfers outside the EU
Google, Resend and Cloudflare process data in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
3. How long we keep it
Your data stays until you delete it. Diary entries older than three months are removed from your device automatically. When you delete your account, your account record and all associated rows — profile, food entries, water, weight, settings — are deleted from our database. Photos are not stored on our servers; they are sent for recognition and not retained by us.
4. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing. You can delete your account and all of its data yourself, inside the app, under Settings → Delete account — no request needed. For anything else, write to jarektabalski@gmail.com.
If you believe your data is handled unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych (uodo.gov.pl), or with the authority in your own country.
5. Age
Lookma is intended for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Security
Connections use HTTPS. Your data is protected by row-level security rules, so one account cannot read another's data. Passwords are stored hashed by our authentication provider and are never visible to us.
7. Not medical advice
Lookma estimates calorie and nutrient targets using standard formulas (Mifflin-St Jeor). These are estimates, not medical advice. Automatic food recognition can be wrong. Talk to a doctor or dietitian before making significant changes to how you eat, and especially if you are pregnant, have an eating disorder, diabetes, or any other medical condition.

Vücudunuza ve ne yediğinize dair veriler GDPR'ın 9. maddesi anlamında sağlık verisidir. Bunları yalnızca siz girmeyi seçtiğiniz için işliyoruz. Hesabınızı silerek bu rızayı istediğiniz zaman geri çekebilirsiniz.
Lookma reklam göstermez, üçüncü taraf reklam kütüphanesi içermez, sizi başka uygulama ve sitelerde izlemez ve verilerinizi kimseye satmaz.

Google'a gönderilen fotoğraflar
Kamerayla öğün eklediğinizde o fotoğraf, yemeği tanıması için Google'ın Gemini servisine gönderilir. Cihazınızdan bir görüntünün çıktığı tek durum budur. Fotoğraf göndermek istemiyorsanız öğünleri elle ekleyin — fotoğrafla tanıma dışındaki her özellik bunsuz çalışır.
AB dışına aktarım
Google, Resend ve Cloudflare veriyi Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'nde işler. Bu aktarımlar AB Standart Sözleşme Maddelerine ve uygulanabildiği ölçüde AB–ABD Veri Gizliliği Çerçevesine dayanır.
3. Ne kadar süre saklıyoruz
Verileriniz siz silene kadar durur. Üç aydan eski günlük kayıtları cihazınızdan kendiliğinden temizlenir. Hesabınızı sildiğinizde hesap kaydınız ve ona bağlı bütün satırlar — profil, yemek kayıtları, su, kilo, ayarlar — veritabanımızdan silinir. Fotoğraflar sunucularımızda saklanmaz; tanıma için gönderilir, tarafımızca tutulmaz.
4. Haklarınız
GDPR kapsamında verilerinize erişme, düzeltilmesini, silinmesini, işlemenin kısıtlanmasını ve taşınabilirliğini isteme, ayrıca işlemeye itiraz etme hakkınız vardır. Hesabınızı ve tüm verinizi uygulamanın içinden, Ayarlar → Hesabı sil adımıyla kendiniz silebilirsiniz; talep göndermenize gerek yoktur. Diğer her konu için jarektabalski@gmail.com adresine yazabilirsiniz.
Verinizin hukuka aykırı işlendiğini düşünüyorsanız Polonya veri koruma otoritesi Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych'a (uodo.gov.pl) veya kendi ülkenizdeki otoriteye şikâyette bulunabilirsiniz.
5. Yaş
Lookma 16 yaş ve üzeri için tasarlanmıştır. 16 yaşın altındaki çocuklardan bilerek veri toplamayız. Bir çocuğun hesap açtığını düşünüyorsanız bize yazın, hesabı silelim.
6. Güvenlik
Bağlantılar HTTPS üzerinden kurulur. Verileriniz satır düzeyi güvenlik kurallarıyla korunur; bir hesap başka bir hesabın verisini okuyamaz. Şifreler kimlik doğrulama sağlayıcımız tarafından özetlenerek saklanır ve bizim tarafımızdan hiçbir zaman görülmez.
7. Tıbbi tavsiye değildir
Lookma kalori ve besin hedeflerini standart formüllerle (Mifflin-St Jeor) tahmin eder. Bunlar tahmindir, tıbbi tavsiye değildir. Otomatik yemek tanıma yanılabilir. Beslenmenizde önemli bir değişiklik yapmadan önce; özellikle hamileyseniz, yeme bozukluğunuz, diyabetiniz veya başka bir sağlık durumunuz varsa bir hekime ya da diyetisyene danışın.
